Silverback7 donates to the third annual Tampa Bay Frogman Swim and the Navy SEAL Foundation
Woodbridge, VA -- January 25, 2012-- The third annual Tampa Bay Frogman Swim was held yesterday to help benefit a severely injured active duty Navy SEAL. With less than three weeks notice, over 100 gathered at Gandy Beach to swim and raise over $30,000.
The mission of the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim is to build national awareness of the Naval Special Warfare community and become a key fundraiser of the Navy SEAL Foundation by building a premier annual event that challenges athletes with weather conditions similar to SEAL training.
The proceeds to the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim are used to provide injury assistance to Navy SEALs and tragedy assistance for families who have lost a loved one in training or combat. Their goal is to provide support for the Naval Special Warfare Community and perpetuate the history and heritage of the United States Naval Commandos. "Never Leave A Man Behind".
